Rosemary Swainston

Chief Executive Officer

Rose is our CEO and a qualified Youth worker. Rose joins us from Home-Start Wandsworth, a local charity supporting families with children under 5, where she has been leading a team of staff and volunteers through the pandemic.  Before this she was part of the leadership team and a Youth worker at Caxton Youth Organisation for six years. She has a wealth of experience in Youth and Community work and specialises in working with young people with learning disabilities.  

Rose is an enthusiastic leader, a Trustee in the youth sector and a community volunteer for the RSPB. Most importantly she is passionate about the work of Caxton Youth Organisation in supporting young people with learning disabilities towards independence and celebrating their achievements.

Eliane Edmond

Head of Programmes

Eliane is Caxton’s Head of Programmes. She is running the Emotional and Social Wellbeing programme with City Bridge trust equipping people with the tools to improve their wellbeing.  Eliane is a qualified Youth Worker (MA) as well as supporting the youth work team in the delivery of the programmes and activities at Caxton.  Eliane also runs Caxton’s social media, ensuring that it is as youth-led as possible. This helps to develop young people’s skills and leadership skills.

Senior Youth Worker

Floyd is the Senior Youth Worker at Caxton Youth Organisation. A qualified Youth Worker, his specialist areas are substance misuse education, and child protection. 

Floyd leads Caxton’s Health and Personal Care Programme, which supports young people to be healthy and to be able to make informed choices about their health.

Fundraising Manager

Paige joined as our Fundraising Manager in April 2023.She specialises in fundraising communications and is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people. She wholeheartedly believes youth-led clubs like Caxton play an essential role in our community and strengthens young people’s sense of belonging. In her free time she loves all things arts and crafts including drawing and visiting art galleries.

Paul Furcovici

Paul Furcovici

Youth Worker

Paul is one of our Youth Workers. They have joined the team in 2023, where previously they worked as a school teacher specialising in supporting the students with additional educational needs. Now Paul will be running the Employment Programme here at Caxton, where they support the young people in finding and preparing for work and hope to help them find a career that they will enjoy.
In their spare time, Paul enjoys photography and trying out all sorts of new things, like archery and axe throwing
Elysse Graves

Intern Youth Worker

Elysse is one of our Youth Workers. She joined the team in 2023 on a Jack Petchey internship. Before coming to Caxton, Elysse worked for a Community Council and studied Drama, Applied Theatre and Education at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Elysse will be helping the Youth Team and supporting Caxton’s young people. In her spare time, Elysse enjoys reading, watching football and going on hikes.

Finance and Facilities Officer

Jessie joined the Organisation in July 2018. Her role includes office work, supporting staff members with their work and anything else that needs doing to help the running of the Organisation.

Sarah Wilson-Black

Youth Worker

Sarah is a qualified youth worker (MA) who believes that all young people should have access to spaces where they can socialise, gain new experiences, develop independence and have fun. In her spare time she loves reading, cooking, walking her dog, swimming and being creative. She enjoys encouraging young people to find a connection with the natural world and to see themselves as part of an inclusive and empowering community.

Youth Worker

Alex attended Caxton for over 4 years as a youth member; enjoying the chance to help younger members. She joined the staff team in September 2020 and is helping to lead a project called “Getting back on track.” In her spare time she enjoys sport, fitness and walking, sometimes walking and hiking over a hundred miles a week. She hopes to inspire and encourage young people to meet their fitness goals and become healthier.
