For our summer holiday provision this year our young people got to:
- visit the Cartoon Museum (where they attended an animation workshop and admired the artworks)
- visit the Parliament (and learn about the history and inner workings of our government)
- visit the Natural History Museum (getting a peek into the history of the world)
- visit the Frameless exhibition (where they immersed themselves in the world of art from a variety of eras)
- go go-karting (this was a first for Caxton members – it proved to be an absolute hit, and the adrenaline rush kept everyone excited for the rest of the day)
- go kayaking (and practice the skill that many of our members have gained during previous kayaking trips)
- visit the London Zoo (and immerse themselves in the exciting world of the animal kingdom)
- spend a few days at Caxton and attend photography workshops (where they got to explore their creativity in a familiar environment)
This summer has been packed with a variety of exciting activities for Caxton members. From creative workshops to fun adventures, we’ve made the most of our time off.
One of our members has shared, “I really enjoyed it this summer on the trip and all of the activities. Caxton thanks for that, it kept me out from the house.”
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to our youth club soon!
