May Half Term Activities 2025

May Half Term at Caxton was a great mixture of learning, trying new things and enjoying time with friends.

Over May Half Term, our young people took part in a mix of activities both within and outside London. Here’s a snapshot of what we got up to:

  • Explored medicinal and edible plants at the Chelsea Physic Garden – London’s oldest botanic garden
  • Polished their bowling skills
  • Ventured to Brighton to visit Sea Life (the world’s oldest aquarium!), enjoy the beach, and tuck into fish and chips
  • Watched The Vanishing Elephant at the Southbank Centre, learning about friendship, belonging, and the challenges of displacement
  • Caxton’s Changemakers travelled to Margate to learn about protest and social action at Turner Contemporary’s Resistance exhibition
Two people looking at two framed black and white pictures on a wall. One of the people, wearing a green jumper and pink cap is pointing at one of the pictures. The pictures show large groups of people.
